Lotus FastSite 2.0
A Web publishing tool that enables users to
build a complete, customized Web site within minutes. With
FastSite, users can quickly and easily convert groups of files
from 2 different file formats, including documents created in
Microsoft Office and Lotus SmartSuite to HTML and move them to
any Internet, intranet, or extranet site with a mouse click. FastSite also includes dozens of pre-formatted, professionally
designed Web SmartMaster looks for creating customized sites.
In addition, FastSite offers Verity HTML publishing
capabilities that allow users to publish documents created in
applications that are not resident on their
systems.
Lotus Word Pro Increases word processing
productivity by providing advanced technology in the areas of
Internet publishing, file compatibility and speech
recognition. Word Pro's customized version of the IBM ViaVoice
engine also features improved speech recognition for US
English, UK English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
Additionally, Word Pro 9.7 offers improved file compatibility
with Microsoft Word including Word 97 and Word
2000.
Freelance Graphics
Freelance Graphics users can now read and write
presentations within a PowerPoint file without opening the
Freelance application. Additionally, Freelance Graphics now
ships with 100 new SmartPics, expanding Freelance's image
library. Freelance Graphics gives users a faster, easier way
to develop plans, reports and proposals by organizing and
summarizing ideas, while simultaneously providing visually
compelling documents.
Lotus Approach
Support for Lotus Notes R5 allows users to
directly access their Notes-based data without leveraging
their IT departments. Approach 9.7 offers improved
performance, IBM DB2 database compatibility for printing and
improved query features. With these additions, Lotus Approach
continues its legacy as an award-winning relational database,
with built-in Internet/intranet capabilities, that provides
users the ability to manage, analyse and seamlessly connect to
all data, whether it is stored in Lotus Notes, dBASE, DB2,
Oracle, or almost any other database format.
Lotus SmartCenter
A customizable command centre,
designed to work like an Internet file cabinet, SmartCenter
offers users a simple way to access and organize information
from SmartSuite applications, Lotus Notes and the Internet.
With built-in Internet content from Yahoo, PC Quote,
Intellicast, MapQuest, Travelocity, and other leading
Web-based content providers, SmartCenter gives users one-click

2000 Support: SmartSuite 9.8.1 supports the
Windows 2000 platform, providing SmartSuite's enterprise
customers with seamless enterprise-wide integration between
SmartSuite and the operating system. New technologies allow
administrators to create user settings centrally and download

groups of individuals. Administration improvements will reduce
help desk inquiries as well as total cost of ownership.
InstallShield for Windows Installer: SmartSuite
uses the Microsoft Windows Installer introduced as part of

new installation features in SmartSuite 9.8 enable quick and

Domino Network File Store: The Domino Network File
Store is a server add-in, which enables users to open and save
files to Domino databases from any Windows application. With
Domino Network File Store, documents stored in a Domino
database on a Domino server can be open and saved from a
SmartSuite File Open / File Save As dialog. Files can be
viewed like any other network drive through the Windows
Explorer
Desktop Applications Coexistence: SmartSuite
Millennium Edition is data-savvy. SmartSuite users can share
files with users of Microsoft Word, Excel, Word Perfect and
previous versions of SmartSuite. SmartSuite 9.6 can create or
