Adding bundled software as a add-on or sales promotion has been synonymous with Computer and Hardware Sales for as long as one can remember, as long as the offering is of a certain quality.
Gone are the days when a heap of CD's filed with low grade "Freeware" and "Shareware" was included and the end result was a system which required repair, most of today's bundles are full of Retail quality software and are all Microsoft XP compatible.
